Gäbel studierte am Conservatorium van Amsterdam und gewann diverse Preise. Seit einigen Jahren lebt er als freiberuflicher Saxofonist und Lehrer in Köln. Er leitet eigene Bands und tourt mit der Big Band seines Bruders Tom Gaebel durch ganz Deutschland. Michael Villmow ist Saxofonist und arbeitet seit über 20 Jahren als Saxofonlehrer und Ensembleleiter an einer der größten Musikschulen Deutschlands, der Rheinischen Musikschule Köln.
